This summary from BrewDog:

When BrewDog was founded in 2007, it’s safe to say nobody involved at the time could ever have dreamed that it would lead to events like our fifth-annual Punk AGM (although to be fair, one-third of our initial staff only really ever dreamed of chasing rabbits). Yet on Saturday there we were at Aberdeen’s AECC, pouring the contents of 526 kegs into 30,000 pint glasses for over 6,000 of our awesome Equity for Punks shareholders at the UK’s largest Annual General Meeting.

Over the course of the day, we shared with our assembled army of EFP’s just how much their investment has made a difference to our company – as well as letting them know exactly what we have up our collective sleeves for the year ahead. After the formalities – liberally dosed with Jack Hammer, fresh from the canning line, we shared in tastings with some amazing guest breweries, before simply getting down and partying in front of some epic live music.

It’s been an amazing year for us, and we have loved the support of our investors and fans at each and every stage. Over the last twelve months, we have:-

-        Brewed 117,500 HL of craft beer

-        Exported our beer to fifty-five countries

-        Built the largest craft canning line in Europe

-        Opened bars in fourteen sites around the world

-        Launched Equity for Punks IV - the most audacious crowd-funding Europe has ever seen

-        Become a Living Wage employer

-        Collaborated with some of the best craft breweries on the planet

-        Filmed and aired our third series of Brew Dogs

-        Continually grown our amazing team

-        Become the UK's fastest-growing food & drink company for the fourth consecutive year

Everything we do is focused towards one specific aim – to make other people as passionate about great craft beer as we are. It all comes back to what is in your glass, bottle or can. As we grow, this dedication hasn’t wavered – not a single inch. To back this commitment, alongsidebecoming a Living Wage employer we have implemented an expanded QA programme in our Ellon Brewery, we now have over 150 Cicerones on our staff, and we are looking to launching an apprenticeship scheme to train the next generation of talented beermakers.

Speaking of things that we are looking to unleash on the world, the Punk AGM is always a time when we crank up the proverbial megaphone and tell our investors exactly what we are planning for the year ahead. We’re so excited about what the immediate future holds that we’ll be publishing a blog post devoted to this very subject tomorrow – so check back then for some truly enormous news (if you can’t wait until then, phone your nearest Equity Punk). Expect announcements on bars, beers and a whole lot more – did anybody hear the word gin? At all?

If you couldn’t make it up to Aberdeen for this year’s AGM, aside from the announcements, here’s a round-up of the amazing guest breweries, food and music that you missed. #PunkAGM 2016 will be bigger, better and with more incredible beer than ever – and we'll be inviting our Equity Punk investors to come and join us then for the AGM every other company (and set of shareholders) wishes they could stage. Until next year!

“Watching the presentation out there, it’s super cool to have the same ideals. I don’t think BrewDog are afraid to blaze new territory and at Ballast Point since the very early days, we haven’t either.”

- Chris Marin, Ballast Point

“Jack Hammer in cans tastes every bit as amazing as I knew it would!”

- Kirsty, Equity for Punks Investor

“Who’s happy to be alive?”

- Logan Plant, Beavertown

“The beers coming up sound incredible. I don’t know, it seems each time I think ‘oh, this is the best beer I’ve ever tasted’ along comes another one!”

- Graeme, Equity for Punks Investor

“Thanks for believing in us, thanks for being an equity punk, and’s let’s go 2015.”

- James Watt, co-founder of BrewDog
