Volunteers Team with Central Atlanta Progress, Happy Ending Productions, SunTrust Bank, SweetWater Brewing Co., Centennial Olympic Park & Park Pride to Beautify Atlanta
WHAT: SweetWater 420 Festival and Happy Ending Productions commit to clean up downtown Atlanta with the donation of a
Bigbelly solar trash compactor to help improve service and collection efficiencies on Broad Street, one of Downtown’s most popular dining destinations.
Central Atlanta Progress (CAP), Happy Ending Productions, SunTrust Bank, SweetWater Brewing Co., Centennial Olympic Park and Park Pride will work to beautify downtown Atlanta parks and green spaces via Atlanta’s new Streetcar to kick off the 11th annual 3-day SweetWater 420 Festival. Volunteers are needed to work to remove trash, landscape, plant, weed and paint. Register to volunteer here. As a “thank you” volunteers will receive offer to purchase discounted SweetWater 420 Festival tickets.
The eco-friendly festival celebrates Earth Day and continues its sustainable practices with on-site recyclable materials, and commitment to educate festival patrons with meaningful changes they can make to improve Mother Earth. After SweetWater 420 Fest 2014, Happy Ending Productions diverted 30,000 lbs. of landfill waste.
SweetWater 420 Festival sponsors Gas South, Mellow Mushroom, Stivers Subaru and Coca-Cola along with SunTrust to ‘build a better future’ have also committed to support SweetWater 420 Festival sustainable efforts.
