Hi-Wire Brewing Planning New Facility in Asheville, NC

This July, Hi-Wire Brewing in Asheville, NC will open a 26,000 square foot production facility in Biltmore Village, Asheville, North Carolina. Now that the arrival of their new 30 barrel brewhouse is imminent, Hi-Wire Brewing is pleased to announce that their new facility is located in Biltmore Village, directly behind Appalachian Vintner at Two Huntsman Place. Previous to this announcement though, the one and a half year old brewery decided to remain tight-lipped about the exact location of their new building.

“We were super excited, back in late 2014, when we placed an order for our sparkling new dream brewhouse from Europe,” stated Adam Charnack, co-owner of Hi-Wire Brewing. “We didn’t want to jump the gun, though, on announcing too many details about our future operation at that time…simply because we didn’t have all the answers. Now that our real estate is secured, loan closed, construction underway, and brewhouse ready to ship, it’s time to tell the world about our latest pride and joy!”

The new facility, which will be fondly referred to as the Biltmore “Big Top”, most recently housed Asheville-based ISM, an industrial metal machining shop. The building is uniquely equipped to house a brewery as it is a large, square building with high ceilings and a number of loading docks. Additionally, the Big Top has ample space for the brewery’s second tasting room, regular tours of the facility and outdoor seating.

“Finding 26,000+ square feet of existing industrial space in Asheville that is conveniently located to everything there is to do in town, is short of impossible,” add Chris Frosaker, another of Hi-Wire Brewing’s co-owners. “But when we first heard about and toured our soon-to-be production facility, my business partner, Adam, and I looked at each other and immediately said, ‘Yup, this is it. Now, we’ve got a lot of work to do!’ Conveniently located close to where our customers live, our employees live, and Asheville’s tourists visit, the Big Top’s location is A+.”

Visitors to Asheville will find that the Hi-Wire production facility is conveniently located one half mile away from the Biltmore Estate and less than two miles from it’s Downtown Asheville brewery, which will continue to be fully operational. Visitors of either location can find the hours of operation on the brewery’s website and social media pages.
