I’m excited to bring you some breaking barrel news coming from Avery Brewing Co. Today you get to see a new series of beers called Botanicals & Barrels and this looks to be the first release. This is Raspberry Sour and it is a sour ale with raspberries added that is aged in oak barrels with sacchromyces, brettanomyces, lactobacillus and pediococcus. Look for Raspberry Sour to be packaged in 22oz bottles in March 2015 and it will come in at 7.2%-AbV. Stay tuned for release details.
