Boulevard - Heavy Lifting Cans Coming 3/30

imageFrom Boulevard:

Earlier in the year, we announced our plans to begin canning three existing Boulevard beers as well as a new addition to the lineup. This coming Monday, March 30th, the Greater Kansas City Area will start to see the debut of Boulevard cans, with other areas to follow soon. The first canned offering you’ll see from us is Heavy Lifting IPA.

Based on the wildly successful
Tasting Room beer, Mid-Coast IPA, Heavy Lifting joins the Boulevard family as a year-round offering available in both cans and on draft. Think of Heavy Lifting as a close cousin to Mid-Coast IPA. Coming in at 6.2% ABV and 80+ IBUs, Heavy Lifting features massive end of boil hop additions of Topaz, Bravo and Centennial and is dry-hopped with Centennial, Amarillo, Citra and Topaz. This hop assault creates a huge citrusy/piney flavor and aroma that leaps from a simple malt base composed of pale malt and a touch of Munich malt. Heavy Lifting finishes quite dry with lingering hop bitterness.

Heavy Lifting IPA will initially only be available in six packs of twelve ounce cans, but we expect to launch kegs in late April. Stay tuned for a specific release date as we get closer.

Please note that we do not have access to our distributors’ delivery schedules and will be unable to confirm when Heavy Lifting IPA is available near you.
