Greensboro, NC – On February 2nd, Natty Greene’s Brewing Co. will release their first

Silo Series of 2015, Specter White IPA. Specter White IPA was pulled from Natty

Greene’s Master Brewers’ archives due to its exceptional and unique characteristics.

It is a light and crisp IPA brewed with Sorachi Ace hops, fermented on Belgian yeast

and spiced with coriander, chamomile, orange peel, and lemongrass for a spicy bite

and fruity esters. Specter White IPA has an ABV of 7.6%, an IBU of 69, and a SRM of

4.

Specter White IPA is the first of eight limited-batch draft-only beers in Natty

Greene’s Silo Series. Although, Buckshot Amber Ale and Southern Pale Ale are, and

will always be their flagships, Natty Greene’s has had great success in creating a

series of one-offs that, in the past, were only available at their brewhouses and

tasting room. In 2014, Natty Greene’s released these beers for the first time into

restaurants and bars across North Carolina. The Silo Series was created to give beer

fanatics the opportunity to taste different aspect of Natty Greene’s beer portfolio.

Now, in 2015, Natty Greene’s will rerelease the Silo Series.  The beers in the series

will range from white IPAs to coffee stouts and will only be available on draft at

Natty Greene’s Raleigh Brewhouse, Greensboro Brewhouse, The Bunker tasting

room, and at select bars and restaurants across North Carolina, South Carolina, and

Virginia.
