Here’s a new bottle coming from San Diego’s Mike Hess Brewing. This is Ruga Luna and it is a Sour Beer that begins life as a 125 IBU (40 kg of Cascade & Chinook hops) wet-hop IPA inoculated with Brettanomyces, Lactobacillus and Pediococcus strains. The beer is then aged in a wine barrel for 26 months. Look for Ruga Luna to be packaged in 500ml bottles and the beer come sin at 10.2% ABV and 50 IBU.
