SweetWater Adds New Embossed Bottles

From SweetWater:

Within the next week or so, most of you should start seeing some fancy new bottles we have rolling out. These beauts are embossed with our SweetWater logo on the shoulder and some water ripples on the neck, plus a reminder that we don't float the mainstream right below the label. You may also notice that we're running slick new neck labels on all our bottles now too, so even if a brew is deep in the ice chest we'll still be reppin'.

Keep an eye out on
the blogthis week for a video from our field trip to the Owens-Illinoisplant to see the bottles getting made.

Conditioned For Your Pleasure
Way back in February when we started canning, we also started conditioning 420 and IPA in cans. Well, now we're rampin' up the project and expanding to condition our bottled brews too, starting with 420 and then expanding to our other brands from there.

This overhaul project is a quality advancement for the brewery, and a natural way for us to carbonate our brews to keep em fresher, longer. We've got a nifty infographic below to visually breakdown the bottle conditioning process and the science behind it.
You shouldn't notice much of a change in the brews, except maybe some leftover yeast floating at the bottom of your bottle. But don't worry, it's natural and won't hurt ya or affect the flavor.
Whip It Real Good
Motorboat sprung a leak and went the way of the Edmund Fitzgerald, so Whiplash will be moving up to take its place as the Fall seasonal. Which means we'll have a new winter seasonal comin' out. Stay tuned for more!
