Moonstruck Meadery Takes USA To #1 In World Competition

BELLEVUE, Neb., July 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Mead, the alcoholic beverage made from honey, may be the world's oldest fermented drink, it's now creating a buzz throughout the world! According to the World Association of Writers and Journalist of Wines and Spirits (WAWWJ) they ranked USA's Moonstruck Meadery at No. 1 of 100, Best of the World for Capsumel, pepper mead.



Every year the WAWWJ classify wines and wineries that participate in different wine contests held around the world. All results of the various contests are published.  Their products are evaluated anonymously in 75 International Wine contests in 5 continents by the best specialists.



Moonstruck Meadery comes in first for its unique pepper mead, Capsumel.  Capsumel has traveled the world from the United States toArgentina, Israel, and Ukraine. Each competition brought the unique beverage awards of double gold and gold medals.



Moonstruck Meadery claims its Capsumel (pepper mead), has a nose of fresh pepper garden with a harmonious blend of Serrano, Jalapeno, and Anaheim peppers. It has a very unique taste.  Moonstruck is very grateful to be recognized as the world's first place mead from professional judges of the world.
