From Ballast Point:
Holy cow, it's been a busy July, and it's only half way done! Releasing Grapefruit Sculpin, our Anniversary Party, our collaboration with Sierra Nevada, building a new brewery....no time for sleep when you're having fun!
And now, today marks Opening Day at the Del Mar race track. Well, we've been quietly working on a new space at the track, called The Jockey Box (clever, huh?). Located on the second level of the Stretch Run, just up the stairs from the Paddock, it'll feature four of our beers on tap, plus some of our cans and bottles too.
Also, The Jockey Box features a full food menu, so our chef Colin teamed up with their executive chef on a few menu items inspired by our cuisine at Little Italy (we're not just about collaboration in beer). So, whether you're lucky or not, now you can bet on a Sculpin and a Cuban sandwich during a day at the races.
By the way...Sierra Nevada's Beer Camp Across America festival tour is rolling into San Diego Sunday. If you haven't had a chance to try Electric Ray, our collaboration in the series, stop by the fest. We'll be there, along with the other 11 collaborators and a bunch of other local breweries. The coolest part? It benefits the San Diego Brewers Guild.
