Silver City Brewery

today announced the 2014 release of Ziggy Zoggy Summer Lager with the addition of 12oz cans. This is Silver City Brewery’s first ever offering in 12oz cans. Ziggy Zoggy is still available on draft and in 22oz bottles. Ziggy Zoggy, in all packages, will be available in numerous grocery stores, bottle shops, bars, and on draft in select restaurants and bars around the Western Washington.

Don Spencer, Silver City Brewmaster says “Ziggy Zoggy is one of my personal favorites. Ever since my 2006 travels in Germany, the first time I was able to try an authentic Zwicklebier, this style has been near & dear”. Silver City Brewery Owner Scott Houmes added “We think Ziggy Zoggy is a perfect fit for summertime in Washington. When we decided we wanted to provide one of our offerings in 12oz cans, Ziggy Zoggy was the natural choice.” Scott added “Whether you’re barbequing with friends, boating around the Puget Sound or Hood Canal, camping out at Dosiwallips, or spending the 4th of July on the beach at Alki or La Push Ocean Park, Ziggy Zoggy can now be your go-to 5% ABV local craft beer in 12oz cans.”

Ziggy Zoggy is Silver City’s toast to summer and every moment we can cheers in celebration. Ziggy Zoggy is an unfiltered lager that balances a crisp and elegant honey-like malt flavor with assertive herbal hop character. Brewed in the tradition of German style “Zwickelbier”(look it up) Ziggy Zoggy is perfect for celebrating everything this summer; sun and surf, back yards and barbeques, camping or fishing, and friends & family.

So here’s to a great summer filled with sunshine & memories, friends & loved ones and all the other reasons to lift a glass of Ziggy Zoggy again and again.

“Ziggy Zoggy, Ziggy Zoggy. Oy! Oy! Oy!”
