From Lancaster Brewing:

Lancaster Brewing Company will release Hop Buggy Amish Grain Amber Ale, on February 17th. The new amber ale will be available year-around in bottles and draft, and replace Lancaster Pale Ale in spring/summer variety barns beginning March 1st.

Hop Buggy Amber Ale is inspired by today’s independent local farmers and the deep agricultural roots indigenous to Lancaster County. Brewmaster, Bill Moore, makes use of Amish grown heritage oats, wheat and rye, to give Hop Buggy its distinctive malt profile, while copious amounts of Apollo, Bravo and Cascade deliver the hoppy edge. “Sure we brew Hop Buggy to be full-bodied and really hop centric, but our goal is always great balance and drinkability,” says head brewer Dale Tomel.
Hop Buggy Amish Grain Amber has an ABV (alcohol by volume) of 5.8% percent and IBU (international bittering unit) clocks in at 55. Lancaster Brewing Company encourages customers to drink responsibly.

Look out for the latest addition to the Lancaster Brewing family, Hop Buggy Amber Ale, at better bars, restaurants and beer retailers throughout PA, MD, NJ, DC, VA and DE.
