Grimm Brothers Little Red Cap & More Coming To Cans

From Grimm Brothers:

In keeping with their tradition of growth,Grimm Brothers Brewhouse announced that they will be releasing their best selling beer, Little Red Cap, in cans available this April. The 12oz cans will be sold in 6 packs in Colorado and Nebraska with plans to expand distribution to other states.
“We are excited to work with two other Colorado companies (Ball and Wild Goose) to expand our packaging options to fit our Colorado lifestyle.” Says Russell Fruits, Beer Evangelist at Grimm Brothers.
He went on to say “Canning allows us to take our beer places that we haven’t been able to take our glass bombers.” Cans will not only allow their customers to take their beer where they like to play, but are also an easy way to practice the principle of pack it in, pack it out.
Little Red Cap, a clean tasting, full-bodied Dusseldorf Altbier, is available year round as part of the Legend series. Perhaps best known for a 2011 Gold and 2012 Bronze medal at Great American Beer Festival, Little Red Cap has won numerous awards and helped put Grimm Brothers on the map. Other Legend series beers include 3 Golden Hairs, Snow Drop, The Fearless Youth, and Master Thief. And plans to release The Fearless Youth in cans are already in the works for later this year.
To kick off the release Grimm Brothers will be having a Can Release Party at their taproom on April 12th. The party will feature Little Red Cap beer can chicken as well as a canned food drive benefiting House of Neighborly Service.
