New Holland Packaging Gets a Facelift In Late Feb

From New Holland:

Don’t worry – nothing to be scared of. Not plastic surgery horror stories the likes of Joan Rivers, Kenny Rogers or Bruce Jenner – just a nice touchup as we kick off 2014.

So, why bother?

Well, we spent some time last year on a conversation we call – Stop & Taste. It’s a reminder (to ourselves as much as anyone) to slow down, remove judgment and simply enjoy our drinks, our meals, our lives.

We’re lucky enough to be in a position to offer beer and spirits that play a role in the everyday or extraordinary moments of your lives. And we wanted to make sure we offered as much assistance as possible in helping you select the right flavors while you’re creating those memories.

So, here’s what you’ll be seeing in packaging and on our website:

Quick-reference Flavor Profiles
Craft beer consumers are more educated than ever before, but there’s still some moments when we’re left scratching our heads about names and styles. That’s why we’ve put some key flavor profile words in big ‘ol letters right on the 6-pack carrier.

We’ve also included an artsy sketch on each one of a pint glass that approximates the color of the beer in the bottle. This helps avoid that sticker shock feeling of – “Oh, I didn’t know it would be THAT dark.”

Beer Series
Again, there’s a lot of craft beer our there and we want to make it easy for fans to identify certain types of beers in our portfolio, especially on our website. You’re a nut for barrel-aged beer? Well, you can search our Barrel Aged Series to see what types of beers we offer in that category and what time of year you can find them.

Looking for a good beer to bring on your upcoming tubing trip? Maybe you’re looking for something from our Session Series – beers that go easy on the ABV, but not on the flavor.

2014 Series includes: Year Round, Session, Seasonal, High Gravity, Barrel Aged, Funk & Sour, Agribrew and Hatter.

Updated Look and Feel
Sure, we spiffed up our look a little. We stayed away from glow-in-the-dark neon ink, because, well, that isn’t our kind of craft. We connect to colors and textures that reflect artistic, handcrafted and gritty endeavors that yearn to create something – whether it’s a harvest, a sculpture, a meal or a beer.

We’re aren’t losing the characters of our products (you’ll still see our dragons, ravens and impish hatters) – we just wanted to place them on a canvas worthy of the liquid they represent.

So, take a peek at our new website and start looking for revised packing on shelves in late-February. We look forward to another year of being part of your memories and exploring the flavor of life every day.
