Nov. 25, 2013/mbb/ - Zephyr Brewing Company is the newest local brewery to join the craft beer neighborhood in the RiNo district of Denver, CO. They are owned and operated by true Colorado natives. Brian Wood, Tyler Shuey and Rich Wisniewski are childhood friends, with a “Colorado Proud” attitude that is a driving theme behind their brews. Brian and Tyler (engineers educated at the Universtiy of Colorado and long-time homebrewers) will be heading up the brewing operations, while Rich (a bar manager and former 5280 "Top of the Town Readers’ Choice" Bartender) will be running the front of the house.
Zephyr Brewing Company is utilizing the CrowdBrewed website to launch their campaign. https://crowdbrewed.com/rewards/ is a donation / reward crowdfunding platform for craft brewers and industry affiliates who want to raise money for their breweries, to add new beers to their catalog, pitch a product and to spread the word to the “crowd”.
Through strategic marketing and offering great rewards, crowdfunding has become one of the most successful avenues to raise money and attention for up and coming breweries. In fact, CrowdBrewed broke records with previous campaigns, raising double the intended amount for J Wakefield Brewing Company at nearly $112,000. CrowdBrewed is optimistic that Zephyr Brewing Company will receive the same public excitement for their brewing dreams.
Their anticipated taproom will carry eight taps of delicious Zephyr Brewing Company beers, enough to satisfy even the thirstiest craft beer lover. Their unique beers will indulge every palette. Their regular tap will carry a Scottish Ale, a Denver Milk Stout, a Belgian Style Wheat and an IPA. The additional four taps will be for specialty and rotating taps that will feature Chili Beers, Fruit Beers and Imperial Styles.
Zephyr Brewing Company has raised the bar as far as crowdfunding rewards go as well. With a contribution of $20, they are offering a Zephyr pint glass, a sticker, a magnet, and a free pint. For $300, a campaign contributor will enjoy all of that plus a limited edition t-shirt and a free pint of beer everyday for an entire year. Larger contributors have the option to have their very own beer on tap in Denver, as the buyer and a friend can join Zephyr Brewing Company on a brew day to participate in a 7 barrel brew! Beer enthusiasts better get ready.
