I met Christine at Sabatinis and she was very nice and spoke to our table for 15 mins. It was cool to hear her on WILK today.

I didn't know if you can get these around here but they sound good. Hal
ReplyDeleteYes Ron....BOM is available in Northeastern PA.
ReplyDeleteI had no idea about the Pierre Celis connection. We love Hogaarden and buy it all the time. I plan to try the BOM beer too. I already saw it at Sabatinis. Thanks Bil

I want to be a Belgian beer Liason!

I love the Bee Gees song especially after Fast Freddy's riffing. Cheers Rico
ReplyDeleteI tasted Heaven and Hell st the event and talked with Christine. I really liked Heaven better and they had a sour that was really good too. JimEas
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great beer info once again WILK. I didn't know there were home mad malts. I think this sounds like an amazing idea. I have to check out more. Jonah
ReplyDeleteHi WILK! I learned about making your own malt and what the 3 wheel bicycle is called in Belgium. I'm kidding but I'll tell you I really want this beer. Heaven sounded Heavenly.
ReplyDeleteChris
You can tell Christine has a great sense of humor and I hope we get to try her Gypsy beer.
ReplyDeleteKrista
I wondered what BOM stood for!
ReplyDeleteI like the birthday shows on WILK. You'll have to do more and I'll have to try this Heaven and Hell for myself to be sure. Chris

I like your beer show and I just started checking out your website. I would vote but I'm new. Just wanted to say thank you to all of you for bringing more great beer into PA.

I stream the beer buzz every week. I'm in Philadelphia and I have tasted the Heaven and Hell. I think it was a great choice and I was really surprised to hear it today. Cheers! Marcus
ReplyDeleteI missed the event that Christine was in town for but I'll be sure to get some BOM and try it. Nice to hear her paying attention to NEPA. J
ReplyDeletePhew! I had to read all of the comments to be sure I can get Heaven in PA. I'll drink to that!
ReplyDeleteHow is it packaged?
ReplyDeleteIt's in bottles in a 4-pack....2 Heaven and 2 Hell.
ReplyDeleteWere either of them REALLY hoppy?
ReplyDeleteJan
Heaven is hoppy, but compared to a west-coast IPA it's a much more subtle hop.
ReplyDeleteI tasted both Heaven and Hell in Philly and liked Hell better. I'm probably in the minority here but oh well. TJ
ReplyDeleteI tuned in late but I'm watching the video. I just discovered more of you old shows so I'll be busy tonight. Thank you WILK. the Friday buzz rules!
