Ipswich Brewery Shows Off Their New Digs (Photos)

imageFrom Ipswich:

The leaves are falling and the days are getting shorter, but big changes are afoot at the brewery! As we gear up to brew our winter seasonals, the change in season also marks the end of an era at our old facility.

This past month our office staff made the move from our old brewery at 23 Hayward St to our new home at 2 Brewery Place Ipswich, MA (AKA Soffron Lane). For 22 years our three desk work space accompanied by a long conference table served as our office, employee break-room, and the hub of all operations at the brewery. Needless to say there was never a dull moment and the room constantly buzzed with happenings on everything from production to sales to entertaining lunchtime banter.

Although our new space boasts a conference and waiting room, five fully equipped workstations, a kitchenette and a bird's-eye view of production, we'll never forget our humble beginnings.

On the production side: things are winding down at the old brewery and starting to fall into place at the new brewery. It was without any great celebration that we brewed our last batch of beer at the old brewery this past week. For those of you who have been following our progress on the new brewery, you can only imagine that this day couldn't have come any sooner and we look forward to brewing exclusively at our new facility.

See below for a peek into our new digs!
