From Two Beers Brewing:

On November 2, join Two Beers Brewing from 2-7pm at its newly expanded tasting room – The Woods – as it celebrates six exciting years in business! To mark the occasion, Two Beers Brewing will be hosting its biggest celebration yet with the unveiling of a brand new look for its growing brewery, including a new logo, new cans and new bottle labels for its entire lineup. In addition, two new beers will be released – a Sixth Anniversary IPL (a hoppy lager) and Overhang Bourbon Aged Imperial Porter, the final beer in Two Beers Brewing’s Alta Series – to the tune of live music, seasonal beer, delicious food from Where Ya At Matt, raffle prizes and more.

“When I started Two Beers Brewing and developed our brand, I was brewing out of 170-square-feet in Fremont, producing only four kegs a week,” said Joel VandenBrink, founder and head brewer at Two Beers Brewing Co. “Six years later, you can find us in six states and four countries, with draft and package products in more than 1,000 accounts. We’ve updated our look to make it even easier for consumers to find our beer and to really show our support for the Pacific Northwest. But don’t worry – we’re still brewing the same great beer!”

Two Beers Brewing’s new look – created in conjunction with Capitol Hill-based design firm DEI Creative – reflects the brewery’s laid-back personality and love for the Pacific Northwest. Featuring easy-to-spot packaging and bright colors identifying each of Two Beers Brewing’s unique beers, each label includes detailed tasting notes, style information and the new Two Beers Brewing logo. In addition, a brand new website (www.twobeersbrewery.com) makes it easy to learn more about the brewery, the beer and more. Pick up cans and bottles featuring the new look at the anniversary party for just $8 per six-pack of cans and $4 for 22-ounce bottles.

A yearly tradition, Two Beers Brewing is also offering a special sixth anniversary beer in both 22-ounce bottles ($6) and on draft. The Sixth Anniversary IPL (India Pale Lager) is a hoppy lager featuring delightful aromas of grapefruit and orange. Coming in at 6 ABV and 50 IBUs, this beer will be available for a limited time at the brewery and select stores throughout Seattle.

November 2 will also mark the release of the final beer in Two Beers Brewing’s coveted Alta Series. Overhang Bourbon Imperial Porter – available in 22-ounce wax-dipped, screen printed bottles ($14 each) – is a uniquely boozy beer perfect for fall, aged in bourbon barrels for six months with cocoa, cinnamon and a touch of cloves. The result is a roasted caramel and molasses nose with a rich brown head. Brewed with Cascade hops, this limited edition beer offers a 12.9 ABV and 60 IBUs, with only 1,000 bottles available.

Attendees of the expanding brewery’s Sixth Anniversary Party – taking place from 2-7pm on Saturday, November 2 – will enjoy $4-$5 pints of Two Beers Brewing’s year-round offerings, plus seasonal brews including award-winning Jive Espresso Stout, Heart of Darkness Imperial CDA, Pumpkin Spice 2013 and the final kegs of Fresh Hop 2013. Offerings from Seattle Cider Company will also be on tap. Food will be available for purchase from popular food truck Where Ya At Matt, accompanied by live music. Each attendee will receive a raffle ticket upon entry for a chance to win Two Beers Brewing swag, tickets to Winter Beer Festival, a mug club membership and more. New glassware, growlers, posters and Two Beers Brewing apparel will also be available for purchase. Please note this is a 21+ event.
