Great holiday news coming from New Belgium:
That's right! It's true! Frambozen is coming! I haven't tasted it yet, nor seen it, nor, really, heard much about it for the year (the picture, to the right, is from last year). I do know that a short run went through the bottling line today!!!! And that, paired with the tell-tale Christmas TV ad, means the greatest get-together-and-eat-a-giant-meal-with-your-friends beer is just a few weeks from hitting the shelves.
Some info: Frambozen is our holiday seasonal. A raspberry brown that pairs so well with big meals we only put it out once a year, and for a short time, and generally in time for Thanksgiving. This is due to the party atmosphere and familial togetherness it creates. These feelings of Frambozen fun are too strong for the world to get anything done. We would all spend so much time in the kitchen, and around the table, that real-life-work would go un-done, trash could go un-taken out, and blogs would go un-updated. It is my favorite beer, during my favorite time of year, and I am happy we all get to enjoy it again soon...
