From The Business Journal:
MillerCoors LLC announced Monday it will cut 200 salaried employees companywide, including 27 in Milwaukee.
Another 160 open salaried positions will not be filled, according to a statement provided by the Chicago-based joint venture.
The move is part of a restructuring of the brewer’s salaried work force “to create a more balanced, efficient organizational structure, reduce costs, drive accountability, improve execution and increase speed to market,” the company said in its prepared statement.
The eliminated positions constitute less than 2 percent of MillerCoors’ total work force and about 6 percent of its salaried employees, MillerCoors spokesman Jon Stern told The Business Journal.
