From Frankenmuth Brewing:
With the holiday season fast approaching, it’s natural that the Frankenmuth Brewery would craft a brand new beer named Christmas Town Ale, paying homage to the quintessential Michigan Christmas town—Frankenmuth. Sweet toasted dark malts and American hops combine with holiday flavors to create a medium bodied spiced ale with a taste and aroma that is unmistakably Christmas.
Christmas Town Ale’s cleverly designed packaging is an ode to Frankenmuth’s holiday traditions with creative illustrations of Bronner’s CHRISTmas Wonderland, Zehnder’s and Bavarian Inn appearing in the colorful downtown holiday setting. Frankenmuth Brewery invites the public to officially celebrate the official release of Christmas Town Ale on Thursday October 24, at 6pm. at the historic Frankenmuth Brewery at 425 South Main Street.
Draught and six-packs of Christmas Town Ale will be available for purchase in restaurants and stores throughout Michigan on November 1.
Frankenmuth Brewery’s association with Christmas extends beyond the Frankenmuth village limits. As the official craft beer sponsor of Detroit’s Campus Martius events, Christmas Town Ale will be a featured beer served during this year’s Christmas Tree Lighting festivities and holiday beer garden taking place on Campus Martius in downtown Detroit.
“Frankenmuth is Michigan’s Christmas capital and we are proud to add to its holiday tradition with the release of our Christmas Town Ale,” says Maher Sarafa, Brand Director for the Frankenmuth Brewery. “Everything from its packaging to its taste, Christmas Town Ale captures and warmth and spirit of the holiday season,” Sarafa adds. “We’re proud to introduce a unique brew that serves as a tribute to both Christmas and Frankenmuth and can be enjoyed by friends and family during holiday festivities.”
