Great news from our pal Artie Tafoya at Appalachian Brewing Co via Pennlive:

The Harrisburg-based craft brewer with six brewpubs, including those in Collegeville, Lititz and Gettysburg, plans to open a brewpub at the former Sutliff Hummer at 6462 Carlisle Pike.

Appalachian Brewing purchased the 26,000-square-foot building which will be converted into a brewpub and grill. Renovations are expected to begin this month with an opening targeted for as early as this year or early 2014, said Artie Tafoya, the brewery's director of operations.

  1. I'm glad ABC is opening at the old Hummer dealership. That being said, are you selling any Gluten Free Beer? My entire family is gluten intolerant. We love drinking beer and we are hoping you guys have Gluten Free Beer.
