From The Bruery:
This month's theme is Beer & Food here in the Tasting Room and we're kicking it off with some seriously great beers to pair with food, along with some great food truck offerings.
1. Snicklefritz: We're opening up our archive and will be serving up some Snicklefritz this weekend! This spiced up Belgian-style golden was brewed by Kyle Manns -- one of the brewers over at TAPS Fish House - for one of our homebrew contests. We liked it so much we decided to brew a batch on our big system.
2. First Firkin Friday Fun: This Friday is the first of the month, which means we have some cask conditioned beer for everyone to enjoy. This month's beer is Rugbrød -- our Danish Rye Ale -- aged on coriander. To add to the fun we'll also be pouring out a randall of Humulus Lager with ginger all weekend!
3. Windowsill: We recently brewed a beer with Evan Kleiman, host of KCRW's Good Food, to celebrate KCRW's annual pie eating competition. The result is a tart ale with rhubarb and raspberries leaving us with a brew as great as a fresh country pie, cooling on a farmhouse windowsill. Windowsill will be available on draft this Saturday and bottles will be available when we open on Monday.
