The Bruery - Ichigo Highway & Steins Throw
From The Bruery:
Fall is typically the time of year when we can start reconnecting with all of our friends and family that have been gone all summer. In the spirit of the change from Summer to Fall, we'll be pouring some of our favorite collaboration beers for everyone. This weekend, make it a point to grab a friend you haven't seen in a while and reconnect over a great craft brew.
1. Ichigo Highway: We'll be kicking off the fun with Ichigo Highway this Friday. Ichigo Highway was a collaboration beer that we made with Hangar 24 from Redlands, CA. The base style is a sessionable sour red ale that we aged in oak barrels with strawberries. Ichigo Highway is pleasantly funky with a great sour characteristic that we'll be happy to see on our draft list this weekend.
2. Steins Throw: Saturday we'll be continuing the fun with Steins Throw. Steins Throw is a 8.5% ABV amalgamation of a barley wine and a traditional stein beer brewed with TAPS Brewery in Brea. That beer is set apart by a special brewing process where we heated up granite rocks to 900 degrees and used then to caramelize sugars in our wort. The result is a rich brown ale with fruity esters and toffee richness that finishes dry.
