CHICAGO, ILLINOIS - August 19, 2013/mbb/ - Cahoots Brewing (http://www.cahootsbrewing.com) proudly announced today that it has signed a brewing agreement with Big Chicago Brewing Company (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Big-Chicago-Brewing-Compan...) to produce their first batch of beer this Fall. No S’more Stout, an imperial stout brewed with scotched-soaked vanilla beans, will be brewed in September and released to the Chicago market in November. This announcement marks the end of a long-awaited launch for Cahoots Brewing, who officially launched their company in January of this year after two years of planning. With this launch, Cahoots Brewing brings another option for craft beer enthusiasts to the Chicagoland area.
“I’m looking forward to finally launching the brewery and am thrilled to be working with Big Chicago and their brewers”, said Dustin Adkison, founder of Cahoots Brewing. “I want our brewery to give beer-lovers like me a chance to be a part of the brewing experience”.
Cahoots Brewing has the philosophy that anyone can be a part of the brewing process. As a brewery, they are engaging their fan-base via Twitter (http://www.twitter.com/CahootsBrewing), and their Blog (http://cahootsbrewing.com/home/?cat=6) for active involvement in the decision-making process. One example is how they chose their logo. They held a logo contest and polled their fans for votes in order to select the logo for the company. “The winning logo was actually not my favorite”, said Adkison, “but if Cahoots Brewing is going to live up to its name, we have to give the people what they want”.
You can look for Cahoots Brewing’s No S’more Stout on tap around Chicago beginning in November. Cahoots also plans to release a barrel-aged version of the stout in bottles by the end of the year.
