From Saranac:

In commemoration of F.X. Matt  Brewing Company’s 125th anniversary, these limited time packages include 12 Saranac beers with a bonus pint of the new Legacy IPA.

“Our customers have been with us through thick and thin and we’re happy to say ‘thanks’ by buying them a round,” said company President Fred Matt.

Members of the Brewery recently discovered an original IPA recipe by company founder F.X. Matt. That original IPA recipe used the most innovative ingredients available at the time, and inspired current brewers to pay homage to the company’s history by recreating a variation of the brew.

The current Legacy IPA features a blend of historic, traditional and innovative hops for a heavenly aroma and full-bodied flavor.

“We are excited for the limited release of the Saranac Brewers Dozen package as the F.X. Matt Brewing Company celebrates 125 years of brewing great beer,” said C.J. DeCrescente, owner of DeCrescente Distributing Co. in Albany. “This unique specialty package gives the consumer the opportunity to raise a pint to Saranac, as each pack contains a bonus 16-ounce can of their Legacy IPA – a sure hit with craft lovers.”

F.X. Matt Brewing Co. was founded in 1888, and today is actively run by third and fourth generations of the Matt family, Nick and Fred Matt.

Legacy IPA can be found for a limited time in specially marked 125th Anniversary Celebration packages of White IPA, Pale Ale, and Trail Mix.
