From Lift Bridge:
Lift Bridge Brewing Company, Stillwater’s first Craft Brewery since Prohibition, will release American Brown, a limited edition beer, to promote the Minneapolis band, Reckless Ones, in early July. This dry hopped, brown ale will be the first locally made beer that is sponsored by Tuned, a new traveling label that promotes local musicians and local breweries through limited release brews.
Each of the American Brown bottles is wax dipped with a code on the bottle cap. The code can be redeemed for a free song from Reckless Ones at www.tunedbeer.com. Fans who download the song using Tuned will also receive a VIP invitation to a Reckless Ones concert at Lift Bridge Brewery on Friday, July 26. American Brown was brewed with flavors and ingredients that aim to compliment the music and vibes of Reckless Ones, the band which describes itself as a modern rockabilly band that builds its sounds off old-school riffs.
“We were thrilled when Tuned approached us with this opportunity,” says Dan Schwarz, CEO and Co-Owner of Lift Bridge Brewing Company. “The Lift Bridge taproom is always hosting local musicians, and we are happy to display our enthusiasm for music and Minneapolis on a whole new level.”
“For years, people have been enjoying good music with good beer. At Tuned, we’re just putting a modern twist on an already popular pairing,” says Nate Smith, Founder of Tuned. “We approached Lift Bridge with the opportunity to brew a beer that reflects the style of Reckless Ones. We are pleased with the outcome and think fans of Reckless Ones will be too.”
American Brown was created by Lift Bridge in 2013. The beer’s alcohol by volume (ABV) is 6.5%.
