From Harvester Brewing:

Harvester Brewing is pleased to announce the latest release out of their dedicated gluten-free brewery in the Experiment Ale series, a Marionberry Pale Ale made with Love Farm Organics marionberries.

Our Marionberry Pale Ale features the wonderful characteristics of whole marionberries combined with a true Northwest Pale Ale.  It starts off as a 30 IBU pale ale brewed with chestnuts and buckwheat that is bittered with Newport hops and finished with Cascade and Meridian hops.  Once fermentation kicks off over 10 pounds per barrel of marionberries are added straight into the fermenter.

This is the second time that Harvester Brewing has collaborated with Love Farm Organics, the first being our Squash Experiment Ale.  We look forward to finding new ways to seasonally incorporate the delicious fruits and vegetables from Love Farms Organics into future Experiment Ales.

Marionberry Pale Ale will be released at Harvester Brewing this Friday, August 2nd at an event from 3:00 to 7pm.  A very limited amount of Marionberry Pale Ale will be available on draft, only at the brewery. We will be joined at the release by Queen of Hearts Baking Co. who will have their marionberry galettes available to sample and purchase http://www.queenofheartspdx.com/. Bottles will roll out to store shelves starting next week and are available to order through Harvester’s online store now for shipment starting August 5th.
