Bad Bear Brewery Closes In Parma, MI As Owner Focuses on Wine

From MLive:

A Parma-area brewery is closed as the owner focuses on his newest business venture in downtown Jackson.

Bad Bear Brewery, which opened late 2011, is closed after a sale of the business fell through, said John Burtka, who also owns the new Grand River Marketplace and Cherry Creek Winery. The buyer was supposed to make improvements and take the business “to the next level” but that person defaulted on payments, he said.

Wines at Sleeping Bear Winery, which was located at the same building at 2110 N. Concord Road near I-94, will now be available at Cherry Creek Cellars across the street at 2199 N. Concord Road.
