I’m always amazed at some of the rare low-batch keg-only releases that Sierra Nevada does and today we have a doozie!  Wolfinanny Wheatwine Ale is aged in Bourbon barrels and it comes in at a BIG 11.9% ABV.

    Had it last night at our xmas party. It is the Carolina Dreamin' Beer Camp beer made Sept'12, then aged in chardonnay barrels, which didn't do anything, so then they put it in. bourbon barrels. Woody, fruity, strong bourbon favour after it warmed up.
