The interactive section of visitphilly.com recently ranked City Tap House as one of the top five locations people visit when they come to Philadelphia. Philadelphia Neighborhoods is an interactive page on the visitphilly.com website that allows users to click on icons representing any for the neighborhoods in Philadelphia. Currently, according to Foursquare “check-ins,” City Tap House is one of the main locations on the “Where People Are Going” list. It is clear that with this new tourism campaign, created by The Philadelphia Neighborhoods, many college students and residents living in Philadelphia are zeroing in on City Tap House, making it a city landmark.

Project director of the Philadelphia neighborhoods campaign, Alethia Calbeck, says that one of the goals is to get visitors and residents active, by moving beyond familiar areas of Philadelphia and explore surrounding blocks. “It is important to have an engaged, motivated and proud resident population,” Calbeck said.

City Tap House is honored to be linked to the campaign and is excited to hear that many people have “checked-in” at the restaurant. The high ranking on the “Where People Are Going” list Philadelphia Neighborhoods campaign created is just one of the many signs showing that the restaurant is on top in the city of Philadelphia. By serving delicious craft beers and various food, and by providing party planning services, City Tap House will sure to be on the top of that list for years to come.
