From Cascade Brewing:

5/7 LIVE: Habeñero Honey Tamarind

This NW style sour blond ale was aged on tamarind and habeñero honey. Aromas

of sweet grass and spicy habeñero peppers rise from the glass to check your senses. Tart, slightly

herbal notes dance with

the habeñero on the palate, but never border on hot.

The finish is of tart, young grapes with a lingering habeñero warmth. Happy Siete de Mayo!

8.2% ABV | $8 glass | $3 taster

We've been busy in the bottle room, recently bottling Apricot and Elderberry; both are done and waiting for labels. 2012 Kriek and Strawberry Cream are both bottle conditioning, and should be ready in the next couple of weeks. Tangerine Dream is in the tank waiting for bottling. Up next for blending: Figaro. As for the question on everybody's lips: when will Bourbonic Plague be ready? Right now, it tastes great, but it's just not quite ready. You see, Brewmaster Ron truly is a beer whisperer; he waits for the beer to talk to him and tell him it is ready. In the end, it is the reason the beer is so amazing, because Ron lets it do its thing. And we promise, just as soon as he decides it is worthy of your attention, we will definitely let you know! FYI, Apricot, Kriek and Bourbonic will be sold in-house AND online. Elderberry, Strawberry & Tangerine Dream will be in-house only. Cheers!
