YOU Can Design The Bruery Ebony & Oak Label $430

image
An interesting approach coming from The Bruery as they use the Design Crowd Website to solicit label designs for their Ebony & Oak Label.

The Bruery has a brand new beer being released in early July 2013 and we would like you to design the label!

“Ebony & Oak” is the name of this new beer. It is a bourbon barrel aged stout - hanging in at around 8% abv. It’s rich in character from the dark, roasty malts as well as the time spent in previously used bourbon barrels - giving a flavor of vanilla, toasted oak and rich fruit - but without the intense alcohol of some more ‘imperial’ stouts.

Not familiar with our brand? We are a boutique craft brewery, located in Orange County, CA, that specializes in experimental and barrel aged beers. We have a passion for creating exciting, genre bending beers and they are all sold in large format, 750ml bottles - similar to a wine bottle.

We have a wide array of bottled beers, each with labels uniquely their own and while we are looking for your own, inspired artwork, please keep in mind that it does need to fit in line with our current branding. If you aren’t familiar with our labels, you can view a handful of them here: www.thebruery.com/downloads or at our ecommerce store: www.thebruerystore.com for some of the current releases.

Attached to this posting you will find an Adobe Illustrator file that contains the proper die cut for the label and gives you an idea for our standard layout, but you can feel free to start from scratch as long as you use the same die cut shape. We typically use copperplate and janson text fonts on our labels. If you don't have these fonts, you can use something similar and we'll change it around on our end if your label is chosen.
