Think Summer With Anchor Brewing Liberty Ale & Summer Ale

image
As the weather starts to move from winter to spring, my beer-mind is already wandering to summer…and when I think about summer beers, two of my favorite beers from Anchor Brewing come to mind.  Anchor Brewing Liberty Ale® is regarded as the first modern IPA.  This beer was first brewed in 1975 and what few people realize is that Liberty Ale is also the first modern (post-prohibition) American single-hop and dry-hopped beer.  Anchor Brewing Summer Ale hit the scene in 1984, and again few people know this beer is regarded as the first American wheat beer created in the modern brewing era.  Both of these beers are perfect summer sippers and with their crisp and clean styles and lover ABV, they are beers you can enjoy more than just one.  Cheers to Anchor Liberty Ale & Summer Ale and cheers to summer!
