Interesting news courtesy of Marinij.com:

Lagunitas Brewing Co. magnate Tony Magee says his four-year effort to win approval of a farm and small brandy distillery on 150 acres overlooking Tomales Bay was a frustrating, fascinating and expensive affair.

The project, overlooking the east shore of Tomales Bay at the northwest corner of 17990 Highway 1, includes a 3,028-square-foot residence, 648-square-foot garage, 1,456-square-foot brandy distillery producing about 280 gallons a year, a 1,788-square-foot equipment barn, 950-square-foot shed, 896-square-foot hops shelter, two 1,500-square-foot sheep shelters,

a 600-square-foot greenhouse, a new well, special wastewater treatment and related improvements.
