From Bison:

Berkeley, CA– Celebrating recent advancements in organic hop farming, Bison Organic Beer has unveiled its new year-round beer, Hop Cuvée—a West Coast Ale brewed with a blend of the season’s best organic hops.

“The new and sexy selection of organic hops being made available has finally leveled the brewing playing field,” explains Dan Del Grande, Bison’s Chief Hoperations Officer. “My hop blend in Hop Cuvée will change every year, like a vintage, to reflect the best crops that our organic hop farmers have to offer.”

Hop Cuvée was designed for hop lovers seeking a more sessionable and refreshing option. It marries the lower bitterness and alcohol levels of a pale ale with the bright and bold hop flavor of an IPA. Golden-hued with brilliant clarity and bold effervescence, Hop Cuvée is crisp, citrusy and tropical with a touch of pine-like hop bitterness and a clean, dry finish.

Crafted with food in mind, Hop Cuvée is a great match for everything from sushi to grilled meats. Recommended pairings include shellfish, sushi, cured meats, Thai curries, American BBQ, carrot cake, aged Gouda, and cave-aged cheddar.

The 2013 Hop Cuvée recipe includes Citra® and Simcoe, two new and exciting organic hop varietals not previously available as certified organic, as well the classic Centennial hop. This year’s hops were grown by Carpenter Ranches, Perrault Farms and Roy Farms—three family-owned farms in Yakima Valley, WA.

Hop Cuvée will be available in 12 oz. 6-packs and draft starting April 1st. For more information on how to locate Hop Cuvée, visit http://bisonbrew.com/hop-cuvee.
