From Captain Lawrence:
After making it through our first year at the new Elmsford Location we are looking ahead to bigger and better things. First off we will actually get a full season out of the outdoor patio and bocce ball court including more tournaments for both bocce and cornhole. There is talk about the annual pig roast making a comeback and for the first time a celebration in honor of 'Brew Year's Eve' on April 6th 2013. As the warmer months come closer we are starting to gather our geer for some possible local farmers market appearances. But what kind of brewery would we be if we didn't celebrate March's ultimate beer drinking holiday "Saint Patrick's Day!!!
Scott and crew in honor of this great day will be brewing three Irish inspired ales for the festivities we are holding on Sunday March 17th known as "Bollocks Fest". An Irish Stout and Red I.P.A are already in the works while another beer that supposedly will be a naturally 'green' colored ale completes the holy trinity for the day. Are very own CLBC Band 'Burke's Revenge' will be playing all the favorite Irish Tunes from Wolftone's to Dropkick Murphy's. Village Dog will be cooking up Irish favorites with a modern twist.
Other new beers that are on the horizon:
- Smoke from the Oak series is back with it's Rum Barreled Imperial Smoked Porter on the shelves in the tasting room as we speak.
- A fresh batch of Xtra Gold has been re-introduced to the tasting room
which means a fresh batch of Golden Delicious soon to come.
- Barrel Select Raspberry Sour Ale might have a release date within the next month or two...
- The next seasonal ale 'Sun Block' makes it's triumphant return this spring with a little more hop edge to it.
