Night Shift Brewing Celebrates 1st Anniversary with Special Brews

From Night Shift Brewing:

It probably seemed like a fairly quiet January from us, but in fact, things are moving at a rapid pace over at NSB. We ended up having our biggest month of brewing ever, we poured cement floors in our new space and should expand into it shortly with shiny, new equipment, we made onto TV screens all over New England, and, on February 2, we celebrated one official year of brewing at our facility. Not so quiet after all! Just some updates on the beer and brewery front:
  • We will be pouring at the Extreme Beer Fest this weekend (Friday night and both Saturday sessions), but this does not affect our open hours - we're still open every night this week 5-9pm, and Saturday 12-5pm per usual.

  • One of the beers we're featuring at Friday's "Night of the Barrels" will be Valentino - a small-batch red sour aged in rum barrels for two months. On Thursday night of next week (2/14 - Valentine's Day), we'll have Valentino on tap for samples and growler fills for as long as it lasts - we only have two kegs, so it'll go quick!

  • The photo above features another upcoming sour - Cape Codder Weisse (aged on Cape Cod cranberries sourced through Boston Organics, and some juicy Florida oranges). We'll be debuting it at the EBF on Saturday this weekend, and are planning the bottle release for Wednesday, March 6th. This will also be the night of our one-year-anniversary party, so put that date on your calendars now - more details to come!
