Fort Collins Brewery Adding $1 Million New 50bbl Brewhouse This Summer

Some expansion news for Fort Collins Brewery coming from the Coloradoan:

Faced with brewing nearly 24 hours a day on its current 20-barrel brewing system, FCB will add a new $1 million 50-barrel brewhouse this summer.

The expansion will increase FCB’s capacity from 22,100 barrels annually to 32,300 annually.

The system, which is coming from Germany, will allow the brewery to brew fewer batches that are larger, alleviating its production squeeze, said Charles Stanley, FCB marketing director.

The expansion will also include the addition of four new 150-barrel fermenters set to be installed in March and July.
