From Cascade Brewing:
Tonight's Tap It Tuesday at 6pm is LIVE: Cherry Blond. This NW style sour ale is a single component of the Cerise Nouveau. This Blond ale was barrel aged seven months before aging for an additional seven months on 110 lbs. of fresh Bing cherries. Aromas of fresh cherries and subtle hints of cinnamon are noticed up front. Flavors of sweet then slightly tart Bing cherries lead to a dry cherry finish. 8.15% ABV, $7.5 glass or $2.5 taster.
Our annual Fruit Fest will start this Thursday, Feb. 28th at 4:30pm and go through Sunday or until the beers run out. The taps will be returned to normal Monday morning. We will be talking over nearly all the taps of the Cascade Brewing Barrel House with our own tart fruit beers (plus a Pale and an IPA for the new to sour folks). Look for more than two dozen beers to rotate through the taps during the weekend. There is not admission charge; beers are $2 per taster (more for the few ultra rare beers). The official draft list will be available here on Wednesday morning: http://cascadebrewingbarrelhouse.com/events.asp.
