Westvleteren XII - 68 Listings On eBay Despite Ban on Beer Sales - $2,200!

Despite the recent ban eBay has enacted on alcohol sales, there are currently 50+ listings on eBay selling Westvleteren XII Gift Packs. Prices range from $200 starting bid to $2,200 Buy It Now with someone even selling an empty box for $100. Should be interesting to follow along to see how long eBay “allows” it. For those wondering, YES there ARE bids….lots of them too. For those wanting to buy outside eBay, I’d recommend calling first because most are sold out but HERE are the state by state purchase locations.

While many of the listings have been removed this morning….most have returned including someone claiming to be selling just a photo of the gift pack….wink wink!…. (read the text above but the listing actually has 7 BIDS over $350)!

You have to be an absolute idiot to pay that kind of money whilst there is plenty of Westies 12 available online. I recommend http://www.thebelgianbeershop.com or cruize through http://www.ebay.be, up there you can sell alcohol :))
