Samuel Adams Spring Thaw Variety Pack & New Brews Coming

imageFrom Samuel Adams:

While we hope you continue to enjoy the wide variety in our Winter Classics, we're also excited about some new brews we have to kick off 2013. In hopes the winter snow will melt and it'll get a little warmer, we've dubbed our new variety pack "Spring Thaw." It'll include some of our perennial favorites like Boston Lager, Irish Red, the return of our spring seasonal Alpine Spring and some new beers to the family. One of those new brews is a Maple Pecan Porter, which some of you may recall from our Beer Lovers Choice a few years back. Given how close the vote was and the fact we really enjoyed this brew, we decided to include it in this spring's variety pack. As for the other two new editions to the pack...you'll have to wait and see...
We're also excited for the nationwide release in January of New Albion Ale, a beer brewed in collaboration with craft beer pioneer, Jack McAuliffe. New Albion Ale was first brewed by Jack in 1974 and is considered by many brewers to be the first craft beer. To learn more about the back story of this special release brew, be sure to check out the video from Jack's brew day with Jim

Many of us here at the brewery enjoy pairing beer and chocolate. In fact we enjoy it so much; we got together with our friends at TCHO (pronounced "choh") to create the Samuel Adams Beer Lover's Chocolate Box, a gift box that pairs a premium chocolate style with brews from our Winter Classics Variety Pack. (Who wouldn't want to find this combo in their stocking?)
