Further proof that craft brewery growth is picking up more and more momentum. This time we have two new breweries opening their doors just a block away from each other. Five Done Brewing and Ashtown Brewing Co both are opening their doors in Longview, WA. From TDN:
On Saturday, cousins Jarrett and Erik Skreen oversaw the painting of their brewery-to-be’s lettering on the outside of their business at the corner of Hudson and 12th streets. The duo secured all of their state and federal permits for Ashtown Brewing Company. Now, they’re piecing together a production system and wrapping up construction as they come down the home stretch.
Two blocks away — essentially on the other side of Bob’s Sporting Goods — Five Dons Brewing is still waiting for its final city permit to finish remodeling the building at 1158 11th Ave. that will house its brewery.
