The Bruery Releasing Smaak, BeRazzled & Rugbrød Tomorrow (10/26)

imageGood news from The Bruery:

Oh happy day!

This is going to be one b-u-s-y week for us in the Tasting Room and hopefully you can join in on some of the fun we have planned. Between the release a new beer, the re-release of two more and a handful of events, this is going to be one heck of a close to October!

Friday we will be releasing 3 draft beers. The first, Smaak, is a 5.5% abv, is a Belgian-style wheat ale that was brewed with orange juice and then aged for a short time in our sour barrels, giving it a slight, refreshing tartness.

BeRazzled will also be making a comeback this Friday. That deliciously tart sour ale is a fan favorite and is sure to keep you fruit beer fans happy. Reserve Society members will be able to fill growlers of that brew on Sunday, while supplies last. Those growlers usually go quickly so make sure to get in early if you plan on getting one!

Last but not least, we will be releasing draft of Rugbrød, our robust brown ale that showcases the earthy, spicy character of three types of rye malt. Growler fills and bottles of that beer will also be available Friday.

For Harvest Week we will also continue to bottle serve 3 different variations of Autumn Maple -- 2009 Autumn Maple, Barrel Fermented Autumn Maple and Barrel Aged Autumn Maple -- while supplies last.

We have a couple events coming up this week as well. Our can drive is still in full effect, with special pours available to anyone that donates cans to the drive. The drive will run until the week before Thanksgiving and we encourage all of you to come in and help make that drive a success!

Next Tuesday we will be releasing our infamous Black Tuesday, a 19.2% ABV Imperial Stout aged in bourbon barrels. Bottles will go on sale on our website on the 30th at 10 AM and will be available for pickup in our Tasting Room on November 1st. To accommodate our sold-out release party, we will unfortunately be closed all day on Tuesday!

Wednesday the fun continues with our annual Halloween Autumn MapHELL celebration. Come dressed up on the 31st and enjoy some Autumn MapHELL -- our Black Tuesday and Autumn Maple blend served cask-style out of a pumpkin --as well as some left overs from the previous night's Black Tuesday celebration. That event will run from 5 to 10 and is not to be missed!

As always, we will have some killer food trucks around for you as well. Hula Moon will be around tonight -- Thursday -- to serve up some of their delicious Hawaiian grub, Sexy Burger will be here all day Friday, the Flip Truck will be flippin' out on Saturday and our Viking Truck friends will be here to serve up the Sunday football crowd!

See you soon. Cheers!
