515 Brewing To Open In Clive, IA

(Clive, IA) – The partners of 515 Brewing Company are pleased to announce the creation of a new nano brewery in Clive, Iowa. Construction is underway and doors are expected to open sometime this winter. The brewery will feature a three-barrel brewing system on location and a tasting room offering beer by the glass or growler. The inventory will rotate regularly, so patrons can expect a new combination of beers on tap every time they walk through the door.

Owners Brandon Criger, Bailey Forrest, Dave Ropte and Ryan Rost began as home brewers who were committed to making great tasting beers. After a trip to the annual Craft Brewers Conference in early 2011, they quickly realized a desire to turn their passion into a profession and decided to open a brewery.

515 Brewing Company is located at The Boulevard on University, the newly branded section of University Boulevard that has recently reopened after years of major road construction. The owners hope to generate new excitement in the area and become one of the area’s well-known anchors.

“We want to offer fresh, local beer in a casual, comfortable environment. We love craft beer and want to share our passion with the city we love,” said Co-Owner/Brewer Ryan Rost.

The brewery is situated on the north side of the Greenbelt Trail, making it an ideal destination for runners, walkers and bikers. Specials aimed at this active community will be offered during the warmer seasons.
