Victory Announces Around The World Contest Winners

Some great news and photos from Victory:

Since launching the Inspired by Victory contest series last summer, we’ve received countless incredible submissions. This time was no different. In fact, the “Around the World” contest was by far the most inspired, and therefore, the most difficult for us to judge and choose a winner.

We have always known we have very loyal fans, but these submissions blew us away. We are humbled and amazed.

For that reason, we sent every single participant in our summer Inspired contest a thank-you t-shirt, not just the winners. But wait! There’s more! We are continuing this contest indefinitely. If you take Victory around the world with you and send us a photo of our beer or our branded merchandise near a recognizable landmark, we will send you a free Victory t-shirt. You show off your love, and we’ll send you some right back!

Until you’ve bankrupted our merchandise budget, we’ll keep Victory Around the World going. To participate, please send your photos to inspired@victory beer.com with your mailing address and t-shirt size. And, for our geographically-challenged employees, please do tell us where your photo was taken.

So… who won this time?

The Grand Prize winner, who received the most comments for his photo of Prima Pils in Beverly Hills is: Endre Barath. Endre will be getting a $50 check in the mail for bringing Victory to 90210.

Endre isn’t the only winner. We selected three runners up who will be getting specially-chosen Victory swag.

1. As one commenter wrote: “The man oozes two things. One is large quantities of machismo. The other is the Victory beers he drank before going to Croatia to sweat it out for this elegant portrayal of manliness in the name of a fine brew.” In honor of his machismo and sweatiness, Jeff Kenney will be receiving a brand new, sweat-free t-shirt from Victory to wear on his next jaunt across the globe.

2. For taking our magical, mystical Monkey across more than 3500 miles of this country, Art Berger deserves to have his face etched into the mountain along with Mt. Rushmore’s American heroes. But, since we don’t have the political pull to make that happen, we’ll be sending him a new Victory bike jersey instead.

3. Eddie Piotrowski celebrates Victory at home and in front of the Sydney Opera house. For trekking the furthest of all the entrants and for his at-home display of VBC, we’ll be awarding Eddie some sweet signage to hang with pride in his impressive bar.

Cheers to you for being inspired and for inspiring us. Be sure to take a look at all of the entries and read the hilarious comments

Stay tuned for our fall Inspired by Victory contest which will be announced soon.
