Exciting news from Lompoc Brewing:
But tomorrow at Sidebar, we'll be serving up Bourbon Barrel Aged Big Bang Red, aged in Bourbon Whiskey barrels for seven months, then cellared for an additional three (also available in 22 oz. bottles for $9); Bomb.com, a blend of Kick Axe fermented in Maryhill Winery Port barrels with 45 pounds of sour cherries, Cherry Bomb, and a 3 year old guezue; Saison The Beach, featuring Grapefruit zest, candied ginger and black peppercorns for a citrus and peppery finish; The Yankee Clipper IPA, brewed in honor of Joe DiMaggio; Flamingo, our Kick Axe fermented in Cabernet Franc barrels with 35 pounds of sour cherries; and Kick Axe Dry Hopped Pale Ale.
Next Wednesday, August 15, we're celebrating the release of Red Raisin, our popular Proletariat Red aged for three years in Bourbon barrels with 35 pounds of cherries. We'll also have a number of guests on tap, including Alameda Brewhouse O.A.G. Lager, Breakside Brewing Farmhouse Golden, Eel River Brewing Acai Berry Wheat, Lucky Lab BENevolent Dictator, Sasquatch Brewing Pre-Prohibition Cream Ale, and 10 Barrel Road 41 Kölsch. The party will take place at Sidebar from 4 to 10 pm. As with all our release parties, there will be complimentary appetizers.
For those of you missing the New Old Lompoc, here's some news you'll want to drink to - they're pouring the concrete slab next week for the new building! We love how they kept the Bald Guy Brigade artwork on the back wall, just for us.
