Tod Mott Leaving Portsmouth Brewery & Retaining “Kate The Great” Name

image

I’m sad to report that I’m hearing Tod Mott will be leaving Portsmouth Brewery to begin a brewing venture on his own.  If you believe the rumors, he still retains the rights to Kate the Great.  I’m reaching out to Tod via a friend, but in the mean time this is from a member of the BA community:

I heard the rumor last week and reached out to Tod.

He confirmed that he's indeed leaving, but doing so on good terms with Peter and the rest of the Portsmouth Brewery crew and staying on until however long it takes to transition his role over to a new brewer.

The upside is that he's looking into starting his own brewery in southern Maine and retains the rights to Kate the Great.

Looking forward to hearing more from Tod and wish him all the best.
Cheers!
