I really like the concept of Chatoe Rogue and if you don’t know much about it, check out our interview with Brett Joyce. But here’s some great Chatoe Rogue news from the Rogue Crop Report:
Coming soon, a new supply of 2011 Bintage Rogue Farms Freedom Hop Cheddar. We're replenishing the stock for our E-store and pubs.
Rogue Farms Freedom Hop Cheddar is a collaboration of crafts between Oregon's best known Rogues, Rogue Creamery of Central Point and Rogue Ales and Spirits of Newport. The leaves of our GYO Freedom hop cones are picked by hand, chopped, steeped, and mixed into the curds. The taste is a smooth and rich cheddar, with just a hint of hops flavor and aroma.
If you're going to be in Washington, DC next month, join us for SAVOR, An American Craft Beer & Food Experience. Rogue is a supporting brewery for the event that runs from June 8th to June 9th. At this celebration of beer and food, we'll be pairing Freedom Hop Cheddar with the Chatoe Rogue Series of beers, all made with Rogue Farms GYO ingredients. We'll also be serving the two Rogue's Chocolate Stout Cheddar (washed with Rogue Ales' Chocolate Stout) and Morimoto Soba Cheddar (washed with our Morimoto Soba Ale).
