Paulaner Opening 1st US Beer Hall in New York’s Bowery

imagePaulaner will open it’s first US beer hall in the Bowery section of New York City.  The new space will occupy the former Attias Oven (265-267 Bowery) and the 4000 sq.. ft. Paulaner Brauhaus & Restaurant will be open in time for Oktoberfest.  Details from Eater:

A reliable source sends word that German beer titan Paulaner is opening its very first U.S. beer hall in the Bowery space that's currently home to Attias Oven Corporation/Cannon Co. Attias, an old-timer restaurant supply company, will be moving to new digs in Brooklyn sometime soon. The word is that the space will be completely renovated this summer, with an opening timed for the start of Oktoberfest this fall. In addition to beer, the new bar and restaurant will also serve German fare.

Paulaner has 17 similar operations around the world, with outposts in Russia, China, and Germany.

    Paulaner is a great wheat beer and will be an amazing addition to the New York scene.
    We need a beer-lovers paradise and this is it.
    With great beer and great German inspired food how can we go wrong.
    I can't wait for the opening.
